Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Rachel Severin, Michigan

Fr., Chelsea, Mich./Chelsea

To wrap up No. 6 Michigan's regular season, Severin posted a Wolverine top time of 18:12 to finish fourth at the EMU Classic last weekend.  The freshman harrier bested her time from last year by 12 seconds.  The Chelsea high school standout garners her first career Big Ten honor.

Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Peter Christmas, Michigan

Fr., Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer

Christmas paced the No. 10 Michigan squad last weekend at the EMU Classic with a fourth-place finish clocking in at 32:18.  The Ann Arbor, Michigan native sets a 10,000K. personal best, heading into the Big Ten Championships next weekend at Ohio State.  The redshirt freshman takes home his first weekly honor.
