Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Jennie Biewald, Michigan

Fr., Ottawa, Ontario/Hillcrest

 

Michigan's Jennie Biewald led her team to a second-place finish this weekend by finishing first in a time of 14:40.  The freshman out-paced all runners in the 4,000 meter race and claimed victory by over five seconds.   This is Biewald's first weekly honor.

 Men's Cross County Runner of the Week

Christopher Olinger, Ohio State

Fr., North Bloomfield, Ohio/ Cortland Maplewood

 

Ohio State's Christopher Olinger commanded the Buckeyes to a third-place showing at the All-Ohio Championships.  The freshman runner placed seventh individually with a time of 26:41.2.  The weekly award is the first of Olinger's career.
