Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week
Megan Fudge, Illinois

Fudge finished the week 4-0 at both No. 1 singles and doubles.  Against Indiana on April 12, the sophomore teamed with Shivani Dave to take down Brianna Williams and Katya Zapadalova of the Hoosiers, 9-7, to clinch the doubles point.  Later in the match, Fudge defeated Alba Berdala in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.  Against Ohio State, Fudge and Dave teamed up to win again, this time over the Buckeye duo of Angelina DiPastina and Christina Keesey, 9-7.  To finish her perfect weekend, the Kaarst, Germany, native earned a victory over DiPastina in singles action, 6-4, 6-1.  This is Fudge's second career weekly honor.
