Pauly earns her first Player of the Week accolade after extending a season-best hitting streak to 12 games with a .571 weekend (8-for-14), 10 RBI and a 1.143 slugging percentage. She had two hits in each of NU's four games on the weekend. Pauly opened the weekend with a 2-for-3 performance (.667), including two RBI in a loss to No. 10 Michigan. She then came back the next day to go 2-for-4 (.500) with a run scored in a 4-3 victory over the Wolverines. Against Michigan State, Pauly drove in a combined eight runs over the two games, while also notching her first-career multi-run homer with two in the back end of the double-dip.

Weil started the Big Ten season with a 4-0 record, while notching a 0.59 ERA and 23 strikeouts to claim Pitcher of the Week accolades. She opened against Indiana, tallying 13 consecutive scoreless innings and fanning 12 batters, while not giving up a walk in the two-game series. The sophomore pitched her third-straight complete game against Purdue, striking out nine and giving up only three hits. She then threw 3.2 innings of relief in game two against the Boilermakers to get her 10th win of the season. Earlier in the week, Weil also struck out four in 3.1 innings of work to claim a 4-2 victory over Northern Illinois. The Hawkeyes are currently on a nine-game winning streak and have won 13 of their last 14.
