The second day of the 2008 Big Ten Softball Tournament is underway in Evanston, Ill. The tournament kicked off yesterday with a big upset when seventh-seeded Michigan State knocked of co-Big Ten Champion and archrival Michigan, 2-1, to advance to the semifinals. Top seed Northwestern cruised in an 8-0 five-inning victory vs. Ohio State in today's final contest. Friday's action consists of two quarterfinal games, followed by two semifinal contests. All four games are live on the Big Ten Network.

The talented young catcher made the 2,100-mile trip to Badger country to make a difference. Now as her collegiate career comes to an end, Daniels is set to embark on a new journey. It's one that already has her parents nervous, is far more thousands of miles away, and will unquestionably provide her a chance to once again, make a difference. Full story...
