With the women's soccer season concluded, four Big Ten student-athletes earned All-America status with two being placed on the first team, and one each on the second and third team.

Penn State goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher and Purdue forward Parrissa Eyorokon garnered first team honors.  Nittany Lion Katie Schoepfer and Boilermaker Kira Bilecky take home second and third team accolades, respectively.

Naeher and Schoepfer piloted an impressive Penn State squad this year as the Nittany Lions captured their tenth straight Big Ten title and 13th consecutive NCAA appearance. Penn State's season came to a close when they were edged by West Virginia in the third round of NCAA play. 

Eyorokon and Bilecky guided the Boilermakers to their first conference tournament title en route to a 20-win season.  Purdue finished the regular season ranking eighth in the polls which is the highest in program history.  Conference foe Indiana ended the Boilermakers season in the second-round of NCAA action, out-shooting Purdue 4-3 in penalty kicks after two overtimes.

Indiana would then advance along with Penn State to the round of 16.  There the Hoosiers squared off with Duke eventually falling to the Blue Devils, 2-0.  The Hoosiers made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in nine years.

Ohio State fell early in the national tournament losing in the first-round to Hofstra, 1-0.  The Buckeyes made an impressive run in the Big Ten Tournament, upsetting Penn State in the semifinals before losing to Purdue in the title game.

Illinois' season came to a close in 2-0 losing effort to Notre Dame in the second-round of NCAA play.  The Illini took down Louisville, 1-0, to advance in the tournament.
