Purdue's Wisdom-Hylton Tabbed Player of the Week



Purdue's Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton earned the first weekly award of her career on Dec. 11.

Wisdom-Hylton earns her first career weekly honor after averaging 19.5 points on 62 percent shooting, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 2.5 blocks last week as Purdue split a two-game road swing.  The junior had a career performance on Sunday with a personal-best 24 points on 11-of-12 shooting to go along with five rebounds, four steals, three assists and three blocks in the Boilermakers' 81-38 victory at Butler.  Her 91.7 percent shooting percentage for the game was a career high and is the top mark in the Big Ten this season. Wisdom-Hylton also had a strong all-around game in a 67-58 loss at Notre Dame on Dec. 6.  She tied for a team-high 15 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds. Wisdom-Hylton also had two blocks and five steals, which marks the third time this season she has recorded at least five steals in a game.
