Wisconsin's Anderson Named Big Ten Player of the Week

Jolene Anderson, Wisconsin Anderson helped Wisconsin move into sole possession of fourth place in the conference standings with a pair of 20-point performances in two wins for the Badgers this past week. On Thursday against Indiana, she scored 20 points in a come-from-behind victory for UW. In addition to three assists, two blocks and a steal, she grabbed 10 boards for her 16th career double-double and her fifth of the season. This past Sunday, she led all scorers with 29 points on 9-of-13 shooting in a win over Iowa. She tied her career-best for points in the contest, reaching 29 points for the fourth time. Anderson also tied a personal-best with five made three-pointers in the win. For the week, she averaged 24.5 points on 17-of-34 (.500) shooting, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
