The 2006 Big Ten Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships were hosted by Indiana University on Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Indiana Cross Country Course in Bloomington, Ind.

The Michigan women stretched their title streak to five consecutive Big Ten Championship titles with a victory in Bloomington, Ind., with two Wolverines women's finishing first and second. Junior Erin Webster claimed the individual title with a Big Ten record 20:33 finish in the 6,000-meter race. Full Story

In the men's competition, the Wisconsin Badgers reinforced their dynasty, claiming their eighth straight Big Ten Championship, despite not claiming the individual crown for the first time in five years.
