Ealy successfully defended his 2005 Xavier Invitational title last Saturday in a winning 5,000-meter time of 15:40.17. He led eight Buckeyes who made up the top-8 finishers in the event.

Brandon Bethke, Wisconsin
FR, Lake Forest, Calif./El Toro

Bethke captured a win at the Pioneer Harrier Invitational in his first meet as a Badger, with an 8,000-meter time of 25:50.  The UW freshman helped the Badgers to a score of 17 and a first-place finish in the 16-team field.
