Men's Co-Track Athletes of the Week

Andy Napier, Iowa
Jr., Antioch, Ill. / Antioch
Napier won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Auburn Tiger Classic with a regional-qualifying and career-best time of 9:03.85.  The mark also ranks seventh all-time on Iowa's best performers list.  The junior distance runner takes home his first career weekly accolade.

Samuel Borchers, Penn State
Fr., Yellow Springs, Ohio / Yellow Springs

Borchers provided a powerful kick in the 800-meter run on the legendary Hayward Track to claim the event with a regional-qualifying and career-best time of 1:49.94.  The Nittany Lions finished second to host Oregon in the Pepsi Team Challenge.  The freshman picks up his first career weekly laurel.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Ben Harpenau, Purdue
Jr., Tell City, Ind. / Tell City

Harpenau surpassed the U.S. Olympic Trial and NCAA Mideast Regional qualifying standards with a career-best hammer throw of 210-09 (64.23), claiming first-place honors at the Mike Poehlein Invitational.  The junior's mark is the fourth-longest heave in school history.  The Tell City, Ind., native garners his second career Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week award.
