Freshman Paul Ruggeri scored a 15.000 to win the crown on the high bar



Ruggeri earned the 2008 high bar national title in his firat appearance at the NCAA Championships.

Freshman Paul Ruggeri of Illinois captured the 2008 NCAA Men's Gymnastics high bar national title on Saturday night, becoming the first Illini men's gymnast to take home an individual championship since 2006. Ruggeri tallied a 15.000 to win the crown.
