Almstrom tied for the seventh at the Augusta State Invitational with a 1-under 215 score.  The Minnesota freshman fired rounds of 71-71-73 to record his first top 10 finish of his collegiate career. The three-round score also was a career Low for the Gopher newcomer from Valingby, Sweden. Six of Almstrom's last 10 rounds have been at or below par this spring.

Persons posted his third top-10 finish of the year and second of the spring season with a 1-under-par score of 215 at the Augusta State Invitational. Persons fired a first round 68, his second straight round in the 60s, and concluded with rounds of 73 and 74 to finish tied for seventh in one of the top fields of the year.  Ten of the 15 teams in the field were ranked among the Golfweek/Sagarin top 60.
