Oden picks up his first Co-Player of the Week laurel after averaging a double-double in a pair of wins last week. At Northwestern, the freshman center recorded a career-high 17 rebounds and added 17 points in the 59-50 triumph. Oden, who continues to shoot free throws with his left hand, went 11-of-14 from the free throw line (.786) and tallied 19 points against Michigan State. He closed out the week connecting on 59 percent of his field goals (10-of-17) and 67 percent of his foul shots (16-of-24), while averaging 18 points and 11.5 rebounds per contest. With a team-best scoring average of 15.6 points per game, Oden has the fourth-highest scoring average among OSU freshmen all time.

Tucker claims Co-Player of the Week accolades after averaging 21.5 points per contest and shooting 73.9 percent from the field (17-of-23) to lead the Badgers to a 2-0 record last week. The senior forward opened the week tallying 16 points, three rebounds and two assists in a 71-58 victory over Michigan. Tucker shot 78.6 percent from the field (11-of-14) at Iowa and notched his 10th 20-plus point performance with 27, while adding two assists and one steal. Tucker, who currently ranks second in the Big Ten with 19.6 points per game, picks up the fourth Big Ten weekly laurel of his career as he was also honored on Dec. 18, 2006, Feb. 20, 2006 and Nov. 21, 2005.
