Davis earns his first career weekly honor after batting .857 (12-for-14) to close out Illinois' Spring Break trip. The junior recorded four hits in each of the Illini's three games last week, also contributing three home runs, one double, five RBI and five runs for a 1.571 slugging percentage. The catcher went 1-for-1 on the base paths and threw out two of three would-be base stealers. Davis is riding a career-best eight-game hit streak and leads the Big Ten with a .492 average.

Schurz takes home his first career conference award after holding opponents scoreless in three appearances last week, picking up a win and two saves. In 4.1 combined innings out of the bullpen, the junior allowed just two hits and one walk while fanning seven batters. The right-hander has not been scored on in seven appearances this season, spanning 10 innings.
